Public Sector Reform and Modernization: Public sector reform involves intentional and strategic actions aimed at transforming the structures, processes, and overall functioning of public sector organizations to enhance their efficiency, responsiveness, and effectiveness. This encompasses a wide range of initiatives, including the redesign of operational systems, establishment of quality standards, and targeted efforts to build organizational and human resource capacity.
The Ministry's approach to public sector reform will focus on implementing a series of strategic actions designed to achieve these goals. These actions include the adoption of a new Public Sector Transformation Strategy to guide comprehensive changes, strengthening institutional frameworks to better integrate and mainstream climate resilience into public sector operations, and leveraging modern digital technology to drive the modernization of the public sector.
Additionally, efforts will be made to improve the quality and accessibility of services provided to the public, enhance customer service management practices, undertake a systematic reclassification and restructuring of the public service workforce, and upgrade public facilities to ensure they meet the needs of a modern and efficient public sector. Through these focused and coordinated efforts, the Ministry aims to create a more dynamic, resilient, and citizen-centered public sector that effectively meets the challenges of today and anticipates the demands of the future.
